On 7 November, Ambiendura went to one of the biggest environment fairs in Lisbon: AmbiUrbe. Originally this event is organised biannually, but due to expected investments and increasing interest for the environment, it was organised already this year instead of 2008. On 11th October 2007 the Dutch organic waste managers section of the Dutch Waste Management Association (DWMA) Vereniging Afvalbedrijven visited the LIPOR organic waste management centre just outside Porto (the `capital´ of the north of Portugal and the country’s second biggest city).
